(those flacons/vases at the back are distracting but i cant move them away:P )
These are modern italian paintings/arts..i think they're quite interesting.

The detail on the vases look interesting ... might I suggest getting down & shooting them level ... that way the distracting vases at the back become nice bokeh.

The coloured glass art reminds me of our long exposure on the road pix LOL
Thanks for sharing, haven't been there before

i find them not so sharp.
shooting something inside a glass container definitely need some manual focusing.
coz from my experience, the AF focus tend to get confused with the glass container eventho we focus on the stuff inside.
try to play around next time.
it is good to zoom-in and check the sharpness of photos taken using the camera's LCD display.
and btw, the modern italian paintings/arts are interesting.
thanks for sharing ya! and dun forget to share some more.
*we want more, we want more*

Actually most of the museums here are free on the first sunday of every month. So i might return there to try shooting the way u suggested:). But the only problem is that they will lose their 3dimension aspect (perspective..). Or its not really important:?

I dont think so. It was a few minutes from the closing time when i entered the showroom so i was just shooting anything i could without actually admiring it:D. They might be some sort of marker pens i guess
alancheong7,
I'm currently living in a not-really-for-tourist town:D I dont think many people come here just to visit the town hehe. Theres not much to see. I wont recommend it for tourisme purpose:)
noruazumi,
Yeah, i havent thinked of manual focusing. Should try that next time:) the only problem is that my D50's LCD screen isnt really suitable for verifying the sharpness. Pictures appear to be sharp in the LCD but sometimes not on the pc:( I have some more pictures of the flacons and some paintings (from 16th or 17th century). I'd put them here if you want:)
Thank you for all of your comments :) .;sorry i dont know how to do multiple quoting
