Just showing some interesting road condition along the China national highway 318 to Lhasa.

1. On the way to MiDui Glacier.

2. Sometimes I actually quite worry that the car might hit the rocks...

3. This is how they prevent the landslide... but it doesnt really help when come to rainy season.

4. This is the most dangerous stretch call PaiLong 排龙天险.

7. Of course, almost 50% of the roads are now tarred road.

Very challenging road condition.

haha... actually the sheeps just block the way for > 15min... refusing to leave. but nowaday the road condition leading to Lhasa is waaayyy better.

What an exciting journey! My brother-in-Law's wife's jeep fell into one of those ravines on one of their trips to Tibet. Took hours to get them up to the road and then to hospital.

It's not a journey for the faint hearted but must be exciting.

wah.... they are real lucky that they survive! to drive in this road, the driver must be very very very careful, that is y we employed a driver instead of driving on our own, then we can concentrate on photos taking, cant do both at the same time.
