Thanks :),got flash Aaron, just took a blind shot a couple of times and was satisfied with this one...did very minimal PP, up contrast i think and light vignetting to make the table the focal point.
csjian: because i looked thro some old school photos of some weddings dating back to the 80s and 70s and the colour was something like that....tot it would be interesting to do it this way instead of typical bW or sepia...did it work for any of you?

No. 1 is a bit strange to me, sorry. The focal point is untelling and the twig is distracting. Perhaps a tele 200mm with around f/5.6 would do a slightly better job?
The bw thing too doesn't quite work for me, sorry. The grain is better added rather than rely on digital noise because digital noise is nothing like film grain. Film grain is generally produced from very high ISO films and digital noise is just a mess (to me). There are plug-ins that do this job wonderfully. The color is a little weather-washed to me and I'd prefer a more contrasty look.
The table shot is great! Absolutely loved it.
The rose + candle shot could be better set at f/1.2, top view with focus on the candle (the blurred "love" roses would make-up a lovely tease).

Wah Radinsyah bro...thanks for the comments...but i really dun have the luxury of f/1.2, 1.4, 1.8 or 2.8 also...
All these were done with the D40, kit lens or 10-20 for the table...

Thanks Kenn, mki and J4shirley for viewing!
I would like to share more shots but the computer that these shots are in are currently being hogged by my brother(examination period priority) and i can't access to them at the moment.
Thanks for liking the compositions Kenntsc. Many didn't like the wierd note thing...I personally didn't think the heart was that good as well. Something, missing...
Thanks for liking the table too J4shirley!
Mki88: heheh maybe time to calibrate your monitor? j/k!
They are a bit dark and i've taken the feedback to lighten the photos for my 'client'. The feedback was a strong positive! :D
But personally, i felt that there was loads of room for improvement...

Thankiew Mki!
I'll try to post somemore...there are some which I would want to get some feedback on as my 'radical' (don't know if it's a good word to use) PP-ing could cause adverse effects instead of positive ones...Will post soon. Thanks all for viewing!

I got friends who upgrade to laptop with crystal bright screen got this problem, when they post thier pics its looked dark thru my pc screen.
Who has the correct exposure, the crytral bright or the normal crt / old tech screen? How about when it comes to print?

Wonderful! I love the final 4 pictures. Makes me :tongue_roll: *drool* over the wide angel...... *slurp!!*
The first one is PP-ed? Or was the zoom blur done on-camera?
Love the emotion you captured in the 3rd picture! Superb!
The last one a bit weird for me, the colour does not bleed properly. I would have preferred if the colour was kept isolated from the rest of the crowd. Also, I would also prefer to focus to be on the couple. But then again, it's very subjective. It works your way too. Great job karheng! I'm sure your client must be very satisfied!

I guess it is more important how it turns out during printing, doesn't it?
I'm just worried if there are any artifacts...
Thanks Jacky!
The first one was Pp-ed! =)
I guess with them kissing without the friends onlooking, it would be a very incomplete picture. The story behind this is that, the longer we shout yamseng, the longer you have to kiss...
Definitely the desat effort was not the best because not done with photoshop but with acdsee and it has central desat only, not outline desat....

Kenn: thanks for the feedback. I agree it's not clean and is a bit more messy..esp the selective desat was done very poorly...
