Hi guys,
I've bought 2 sandisk 2GB SD card, 1 is Ultra II and 1 is normal, but both are not recognise by my computer and laptop, initially i suspected my card reader problem, but it works well for others SD / Micro SD / CF and etc.
Tried to fix the problem in Disk Management, but still can't recognise.
What i can do now is to download those images direct plug in to my camera.
Do you have any idea how to solve this?
Thanks in advance.

now i suspect the SD card is fake.
most prolly yes. bring back both cards to the shop where u bought them and ask the shop to test it on their system. if cannot, ask them for a replacement.
and if it is fake, file a report to Sandisk. seriously!
I used to have a similar problem with one of my CF cards. It was my reader problem. When I used it on another reader, no problem liao.

Try few computers also cannot open, but funny things is went back to the shop, it was working fine, according to them, this is due to viruses, something *.vbs would cause the computer not detect the memory device such as memory card, hardisk or RAM.
Just to share.

U need an iMac Dude .... no virus:D:run_away:
James, I am having the same problem with my 4Gb SD and my Dell 6400 laptop. I could access the card with an external reader but when I put it into the built-in reader, it asks me to format the card. I suspect it is the built-in card reader having problems with higher capacity cards but I am still trying pin-point the problem. Try another card reader and other PCs, especially recent ones which should cater for high capacity cards.

I don't know if this would help, because its a 2GB card but, you can try http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923293.
Click on the 1st link on the article. Its a hotfix installer for XP to read SDHC cards. May or may not help with your situation James.
All the best with getting the problem solved. :D
