I am scouting around for a good 2nd hand DSLR that fit my budget and as my 1st DSLR. Normally come across advert as such. My question, what does it meant by "unfilled warranty card"? Do the item advert below still qualify for warranty? Any help welcome.
Extract from Advert.
"Hardly Used Excellent Condition. Extremely Low Shutter Count of xxxx. Purchased December 2006. With box, charger, original battery, cables, unfilled warranty card ......"

I'm not sure about this, but in IT business, it wont mean a thing, once transaction had been made, the warranty start.
Let think about it this way, let say you buy a monitor back in 1998, but left the warranty card blank. in 2007, the monitor broke down, and you immidiately fill in the warranty card, and go to the supplier to get repalce the monitor. I dont think it make sense.
just my 2 cents

Well the unfilled warrarnty might only work for around one year I believe. It is not realistic for keeping it 7 years and poot it to the manufacturer when the porduct was already discontinued from the market.
