It's amazing how much information & techniques there are out there that pros are sharing for free.

The best of them all, and actually it's literally a gushing fountain of resources is the strobist blog at http://strobist.blogspot.com/

In fact planet neil was featured in strobist in April '06 here http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/04/found-strobists-counterpart.html

And best thing is every weekend, Strobist posts links to new resources he discovers on the net.... hehehe all for free :)
