The car owner... a very proud owner of a piece of junk (hehe that is what I always suan siao him).
It is a 1980's Toyota red top 4AG Trueno about to be converted into a drift car.
911
Look at him, so happy to get a second hand junk from Kuching (BTW, he spent 29K on that car).

Err, alot might ask, where the hell are we when we are going to potong out all the parts in the car.... We are at the car park of his apartment... lol
912
I hate the color of his car. Who agree with me, please second my opinion... lol
The GT wing is kinda out of place? keke

I just love to see this car from the front. The feel of an old car that we usually see in the Initial D. I am pretty sure there is alot of initial D or Project D out there....
913
Anyone from Kuching who had seen this car and know the previous owner?
Pass him a msg, his car has gone into the wrong hand... lol

yupp... the red color so yucky! hehe...
white color & some tofu inside the car will do the job eventho that's not the exact model in initialD. :D

I used to own a Toyota Levin back then. Bought it new. It was a screamer back then one of the "wish can have" car. 1600cc Twin Cam 120bhp AE86 engine. Needless to say I souped it up for "street use". :rasta:

Now... step 1. Identifying which is not needed in the car. (my point of view, if can... change everything in there, lol)
914
Aduh... looks like its going to take a very long time on clearing the interior... u will get what I mean when I post the subsequent pictures... :P

should have use the tamron 17-50 f2.8 for more wider angle or nikkor 12-24 for interior shots. should not using 50 f1.8 as being multiply with 1.5 digital factor...result...not nice d.

Galee, according to the manga Initial-D, the car you show is AE85 not AE86. If not mistaken, AE86 comes with pop up headlight.

this is interesting. more to come?
galee
04-30-2007, 09:18 AM
:D its a AE86 coupe~~ with a big storage space behind... Blue top engine soon to be a 20 valve blacktop engine! :D
The popup head lamp is optional since my fren had the lamp as well but always giving him problem on the poping up of it, so therefore he change it to the normal head lamp.
Yeah more to come. Recently it has been raining, and the car after deweighting, water starts flowing into the interior of the car~ and he is sealing the top hood with silicone seal but have to wait till there is harsh sun to make sure it doesn't leak again. :D stay tuned...

The 50/1.8 can still give good pix, but need to learn how to move back and forth to fine tune composition.
Not enough light in most shots.
Close ups not necessary
