has anyone experienced a broken flashgun? i can't seem to find the warranty, i think i might have been cheated. Looks like i didn't get a green Canon Malaysia warranty from the shop. what should i do? :(

Oooo.... you have no choice but to send it to Canon Malaysia. Just say that you've lost the Warranty Card. If the seriel no is a Malaysian model they will have the record of where and which dealer had that stock. If it's a grey import just say you'll pay for the repiar. You have no choice!

probably just send it to canon service centre first, when i send in my PnS A70 in the first time, it was way past the warranty date, but they didn't even ask for my warranty form or whatever.

If it was problem with the CCD then they will repair it for free even outside of warranty period due to the fact it was design flaw.
