I would like to introduce this slated chicken to you. It is one of the famous foods from Ipoh old town. This shop is located just opposite the Kamdar as the picture shown.

The chicken is wrapped with papers, covered by rock slats and cooked in a big wok.

And whole chicken is RM16 only.

Delicious and tasty. Yummy. Ooh yes, best to go with beers.. :drunk:

That is also my favourite store. Their salted chicken is the best I have tasted.

I can vouch for it also. You should try it too. I'll buy two to three boxes whenever I go there.

You can find this in Cheras pasar malam aswell, damn kau nice! RM16 for whole chicken if I remember correctly.

I was in the rush back to KL to eat the chicken. haha..

Anyway, the coconut flower seafood place at klang also has pretty good salted chicken. :D

Anyone coming back from Ipoh is banned from attending TT in KL... unless... they tarpao two salted chicken and bring along to share. :p
