hehe, well he is macho allrite but he aint big in size... sometimes i wonder y he is so into composing his shots till can take up 5 mins just for one pic... this is digital age.... don like delete ma.... lol

In reply, i heard from a famous artist a painter to be exact, he adviced.... "Don't be afraid of empty space, it might brings out the subject clearer".

Was trying to achieve that... lol

hehe OT a bit...IMHO,

there are hundreds of possible reasons why a person would take 5 minutes to get one shot. Getting the right shot in the first place, the 5 minutes is spent pondering what settings, composition, lighting, mood :D etc etc.All factored in like an equation before getting the answer which in his case, when can i hit the shutter button.

Yes in this digital age we have PS and the delete button ( easiest way to get what you want) but wont it be better to perhaps spend 5-15 minutes to recollect what you know and the possibilities of a shot before hitting the shutter button. That would probably save you hours in front of the computer with photoshop. I guess it differs with each one's individual preferences, some prefer to spend hours in front of the pc while some prefer to spend hours in front of the camera understanding the subject and the endless possibilities the camera could do before hitting the shutter button .

True, acceptable reason, but at the end, its up to one's preference... for me i would prefer to take several settings based on one compo... then select the best and delete the rest on computer... that way, it indirectly eliminate the need to retouch the pic. I am well aware about shutter count but that is something which is replaceable rather than the convenient of time spend on one subject to shoot and missing others around.

Anyway, at the end, its still one's preference... :D

Cheers~
