HI I saw a Multimedia storage device by I company. Lower ground floor at one of the computer shops opposite the maxis center. 120gb for rm1500 that can paly MP3, MP4, wmv and divx movies. Isnt that better and cheaper than the Epson storage models? it is about the same size. LCD display is 3 or 4 inches if I am not mistaken. I have been eyeing that for some time now. Any one seen this similar model ?

I have seen some of these Epson photoviewers in action from some of the pro photogs, mostly I hear a lot of complaints about it's slow transfer rate and poor handling of certain file formats.

Only the first model P-2000 was slow. The new P-5000 is great. I have owned them till they were stolen. Just bought another P-5000.

Really? I dun even have chance to view it...touch it...physically, so i just read some review from net, some of them the transfer speed is good...2GB completed transfer within 4 mins to 6 mins...
The actual i really dunno is this reliable or not..:?
Can some one give me some advise or comment on this storage viewer from Epson...or can recommend some from other brand ...

How much did you get your P5000 for if you don't mind me asking :)

P-5000 should be around RM2200 I think, the Epsons are fast, especially the new P-5000 and P-3000.
The older generation are still much faster than the cheaper PSDs.
I'm using a Digimate III and it takes a fair old time to copy a big card.

Now shashinki has another model beside P-3000 and P-5000, That's P-2500, did some one try this b4?
The speed is similiar to the P-5000, so is this worth to buy?
