QQ : Haha Justin "Balak Tasik" eh? :P I prefer not to be like him ler...
Noordin : I dont have a set of specific steps on post processing. Do it from as how it was as I go along. Sorry :( but basically its mainly some adjustment on curves, smart sharpen, high pass filter, and selective desaturation. I doubt this would help much.
Here's the same shot but cropped differently. Which is better anyway? And why?

That was what I was looking for. Thanks.
I prefer the 1st one, the space makes the picture.

Arghhhhhhhhh I just noticed my double chin!! Dang.... shows how fat I am :(
:D:D:D The pose is cool, but I can't help smiling at your props selection :D A straw hat with a formal shirt??!!! But nonetheless it's a cool shot :)
As for the different crops, both looks good to me. Depends on what/how you plan to use it. Eg, the first looser crop would be good for a mag to insert text and all while the tighter crop would not be so good for that purpose.

I prefer the first pic...the space at the left gives us a clearer view of the difference in light behind your head and the wall.
Did you use a snoot?
You also might want to try on a shirt made from lighter material...clashes a little with the hat. Otherwise, I think you've got it Jay!

Haha.. straw hats are cool for the summer time thats coming. Its a freebie anyway :P and this is a 4am shot so bear with me being blur blur hehe... But thanks anyway. Will try some kinda sleek R&B hat next time.
Goji - yes I used a snoot to control the lightfall on the wall.

The pose in #1 says mysterious & dangerous to me. To get a real nasty look, try a fedora.
From the fedora page on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedora_(hat)):
It is often associated with Prohibition-era mafia and private detectives and tops off most zoot suits.

ooops, sorry man but the curled up sides of the brim made me think it was more like a cowboy hat. My apologies. Yeah, fedoras were originally made of felt & not quite suited for summer or the tropics. Indiana Jones wore one. The straw version is commonly known as a "Panama" - have a look here at a cool Borsalino (http://www.mens-hats.com/IBS/SimpleCat/Product/asp/hierarchy/010301/product-id/418393.html) that tops a dapper image. Of course, the most recognisable image of a fedora in the IT world is the Redhat logo. Hope to see you in one :)

Hrmm.. red fedora and a suiting red shirt with black suit. red socks and shinny black shoes. add a back colored tie as well... and put a shiny wooden black walking stick... now dats a pimped out image! all dat with a bright yellow background!! i can only imagine how to shoot such a setup :P
