Dear friends,

I am new in Shutterasia. As I explore this web site I found that there are terms that are new to me. Don't laugh at me. I am learning. As the saying goes in Bahasa Malaysia or is it a pantun.
Buah cempedak di luar pagar,
Ambil galah tolong jolokkan,
Saya member baru belajar,
Kalau salah tolong tunjukkan.

What is meant by the term thread?

A speedy reply is much appreciated.

First of all, welcome to ShutterAsia!

'Thread' refers to the continuation of your posts....as long as a post gets a reply, it becomes a thread....well, something like that at least.

Don't be too bothered by the terminology...just enjoy your time here...besides, we're more interested in photography! Cheers!

To Noruazumi and Gojira,

Thanks for the speedy reply. It helps to give a better understanding of that term. Whether we like it or not there will be many more terms to come in our life.
Hope we will be able communicate in future.

Happy 'shooting' .

Yeah we have here and we are posting in is a thread.

Each of the individual replies is called a post.

Each of the 'sections' which address certain subjects is called a forum.
