Shot this at an indoor performance RAW + Jpeg (Auto AWB). Which White Balance do you prefer? Or somewhere in between?
#1 AWB - warmer something like 3100k+

#2 From raw file & fiddled with it - cooler something around 2800-2900k

Thanks for your feedback on White Balance (I'll post more of this lady later ... after sorting this out)

Yes Juwita Suwito at Alexis promoting her 2nd album For Real, which is also in the running for this Saturday's AIM awards - Best English album. Hope she wins again (her 1st Brave New World won in 2005) Fabulous voice :)
Hey guys, more feedback please?

First one too warm. The lady looks red. :D
Go with the 2nd. :)

Second still a bit off IMHO (I don't think it's so much WB, I think it's slightly over saturated too), I'd like it like this.

Thanks all for the feedback ... lol AWB definitely cannot, huh!
ST, thanks for your edit ... which image did you work off of and what were the adjustments you made ... looks good :)

I worked off the second one, first I did auto-levels, which did a good job in removing some colour cast.
Then some curves, darken the background, reduce saturation a touch, mostly on red channel and sharpen.

Thanks ST.
Prefer the second one. Trying setting the WB using a white card before the performance starts. This will give you consistent colours for all your pictures.

Thanks Siew, that's a good tip, especially in venues like this one without the ever-changing color lights. Oh, btw, does diff ISO between shots affect this preset WB? anyone?
