Malam Mesra Alumni KUKUM-UniMAP (21 April 2007)

Last weekend I went to my alumni dinner, held at Holiday Villa, Alor Setar.
Actually, this dinner was organized to introduce the new university's managements after my university-college converted to university.

nope, i didn't use diffuser when shooting these.
the lighting in the hall was too low to use diffuser.
so instead of diffusing it, i bounce it to the ceiling.

to continue what i replied to ckchowov, i use SB-600 at 1/1 and point it directly to the ceiling to bounce the flash.

i'm quite fortunate coz the ceiling got no decorations or what so ever that enable me to bounce the flash. :D

Very nice shots noru, and good control of light colour seems nice and natural too.

I would say flash is slightly too harsh tho, may have wanted to crank it down one notch.

yes, i agree with you that the flash is slightly too harsh.
you can obviously see it on white shirts. :D
i should keep in mind next time....
now i need to find more events that i can go coz i begin to enjoy shooting indoor events! :)
