Uncle on a Hot Tin Roof

Well, not quite...but check out this elderly man risking his life just for clearing some rubbish which somehow found its way onto the roof of his shophouse. It's a 3-storey drop down and I'd bet that the roof is pretty hot at 3 p.m. on a hot afternoon.

Yup, tone is flat due to afternoon sun. Old man's shirt was also overexposed. I just liked the look of the old roofing....see how they use bricks to hold the zinc and cloth sheets down? And the apek....fuyyoo....obviously old and arthritic...he moved so slowly...my sphincter also clenched in fear! Wahaah!

One good gust of wind and I sure don't wanna be in that area with all the flying debris!

I dunno how to burn...you mean burn the overexposed areas, is it?

The color one is nicer for me.

Perhaps you need to adjust the curve a bit to get back the contrast...and burn the highlights on the old man? Maybe cropping would also help? but it is just me...:)
