I'd like to get a dry cabinet able to store 2 camera bodies and about up to 5 lenses the longest of which may be a 300 mm lens. any recommendations on size, brand and where to get them.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Which brand is better? Sunpod, digi-cabi, aibo, etc.

Doesn't matter I think. I'd 2 different brands, no problem more than a year.

What's more important is to buy the biggest you can afford that your could fit into your room. As your electronic gears (not necessary photography gears) increases in number you need more space in the cabinet. The bigger the better. Size matters. :D

Get the one with digital humidity control where you only need to key in the preset humidity level...and dehumidifier will automatically turn on and off to maintain that preset.

Take note that there is a version with digital LCD readout but with the analog humidity control. It is messy to set the humidity with this version.

I'm using the one donny suggest from Digi-cabi.

DHC-80 - 80 litres with digital control - very convenient.

I recommend Digi-cabi for it's 5 years warranty - I had a problem with dehumidifier unit and the supplier sent a new piece to my office within a week.

Am using Am-Pro 90L with 4 trays. Honestly I'm glad I bought the 90L as already mentioned above, buy the biggest you can get and it will last forever in a long run for all you stuff.

If I got another need for a 2nd dry box it will be another 90L also for me.

I've seen the Digi-Cabi from KP and am considering the Sunpod from J1. Does anyone know if Sunpod has digital for both temp/humidty? Any difference in warranty between Digi-Cabi (5yrs) n Sunpod (? yrs)
Thanks again guys..

We've been discussing about Dry cabinet setting in other thread, but for brand I'm happy with AIPO because of its digital control/reader..accurate and minimum fluctuation if I were to set at 40% it will only up to 41% and back to 40% at no time, very fast

How much is a Digi-cabi DHC-80 and where can I get it? For 80 liters, roughly how many gears can it fit? (1 camera body, and maybe 5 lenses??)

Go to Keat Camera at Jalan Pudu. He has a few Digicabi on display. You'll then be able to judge what size fit your needs best.

Sorry, not too sure where is Keat Camera. Is it in Pudu Plaza?... if not, please provide a little more details on its location.

How much roughly a Digi-cabi DHC-80 will cost?

Thanks.

I was told by Jason from J-one, that they no longer carry Digi-Cabi. I think he said Malaysia Digi-Cabi distributor stopped or something like that.

Is this true? Anyone has any info?

Someone told me that Digi-cabi, AIPO, Sunpod are all made in China by the same manufacturer, only with different branding.

Not too sure la. But I bought my AIPO from J-One yesterday. 48L with 5 years warranty.
