I have several nice photographs taken aboard a plane. These were taken with a compact and being a noob to digital, I totally messed up the nice colours of the sunset with the auto white balance.

Fast forward some 1 1/2 years, I am still learning about digital photography and just discovered the fun of black and white conversion when I remembered these photographs. I converted them to b&w and added some colour and gaussian blur to one of them.

ckchowov, yes, I realised the comic like feel of #3. Make it almost unreal, doesn't it.

The actual scene was really amazing with very vivid colours. Unfortunately, the auto white balance changed almost everything to white.

These 3 photos were pp-ed with Capture NX. Just some cropping, conversion and some brightness/contrast adjustments. I think I will post the original later for a fixer-upper.
