In real dilemma here... im about to sell my Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM and need to replace my kit lens (Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6).. now i still dont know which one to choose... so i need your guys help in making my final decision... the question is which one is the best?

Sigma 24-70mm f2.8

or

Tamron 28-75mm f2.8

Really need ur guys input in terms of picture quality etc..

p.s. I have decided to buy sigma 10-20.

i never use this lens before but based on the built quality, i would go for the Tamron. Sigma lens coating tends to peel.

thanks all for the input... tresca... ive decided to buy a sigma 10-20.. so the 17-20 range is already covered by the lens itself.. is there are advantage for choosing the 17-50 f2.8 over the 20ish-70ish f2.8 lens... basically i want to have a setup of 10-20 20ish-70ish f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8... and i want to start to shoot events (mostly weddings)
