well.. I do believe on this phrase...
"Photography is about taking great pictures, and it is the ability of the person behind the camera that makes great things happen! Yes, the right equipment is important, but don't buy expensive equipment just because it will make you look like a pro ... it is more important to work on your skills, not on your look."
so... go figure. :)

Yes I do believe that too.. I want to ask people who have these gears of have try both to comment bout it. Why would people spent more money on L lenses if you get better image quality on the third party lenses... Image quality is really important in photography, right?.
Considering the contender of Sigma 70-200 is Non-IS version of Canon 70-200L.. So Sigma is a winner for me between both... If i want an IS, I dont have any other choice..

You do realize that it's all subjective, right? There's no conclusive evidence that any lens or camera is really better than another. All the tests and reviews that you can find online comparing one lens or camera to another are merely expressions of subjective opinions.
You might want to re-read the article you linked to though because with regards to the image quality between the two lenses, the writer explicitly stated that "I cannot tell the difference and I would be lying if I said I could."
