Experimenting with existing lighting and slow shutter shots. I used the build in timer to actuate shutted on a 4" exposure, camera mounted on a tripod.
Camera: Nikon D1x
Lense: Nikkor DX 18 - 55mm f/3.5-5.6 ED
ISO: 125
F-stop: f6.3
Light: Tungsten
Cropped, Auto Level, Auto Color in Photoshop. All feedback are welcome.

Nice and clear, but the white balance is off no?
I'm sure the label should be whiter, not yellowish.

Tripod did the trick with a slow shutter speed. It's all about the lense rated from infinity - 0.28m

You are correct on the yellowish label as I'm still a "learner" on photoshop.

If you shoot in RAW it can easily be be corrected during processing.
Even better is try and choose the correct white balance during shooting, try selecting the halogen or tungsten setting on your camera to correct the yellow cast.

The D1X has problems with tungsten lighting. Use manual / custom WB and you should be ok. :)

I think the pic is fine by itself. Personally I love warm pics.... neutralized the WB will be abit plain but warm feel is like lighting effect to get the pic....
Its up to ones preference in this matter :D
