Orton Effect

Testing water with my first (newbie)post...

The pix was taken at Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam.

The pix has been given Orton treatment. Basically Orton effect is created thru post-processing to give kinda dreamy effect to the photo.

I attached my action script for this effect. Apply it on the original (background) layer. No worry, the action will create duplicate layer and the original layer is untouched.

Lemme check some of my HDR + Orton. But not many ppl like HDR.

Well a lot of people on Flickr love HDR! Most of my HDR got into explore one time or another.

You should try Mild HDR though, if you are using Photomatix put the Strength down to about 40%, Lumniosity negative a bit and pump up the saturation and add a little black point.

Thank you. I take it as a compliment. For me, I believed, Malaysia has nothing short of beautiful places. It's in our responsibility to present our local places as great as the places you mentioned.

Their photographers has done good job in taking good pix, so it will be our job to present local places internationally too.
