WTA: Windows Software for Creating Comics

Hi all,

would like to ask, any one knows of any windows based software that can easily create a comic type graphic something like this instead of using PhotoShop:

i used to do this in MS word, but if you do this in MS Powerpoint, u can save it as jpg or gif.

One of the creators of this site recently messaged me about this, online software for creating comics - can be embedded in web pages after.

Pretty neat.
