I am not a pro..
I am just a blardy beginner..
But here's my two cents..
Pic #1 - Background sucks... too busy... bottom right, the white circle is distracting. Left spoon and tissue errr.. any purpose? That bunch of reflections on bottom left also distracting.. reflections also not very appealing to me..
Pic #2
Again lights reflection on the table not necessary, flowers? the colors doesn't go well with the color of table, chopstick got chopped off!
Pic #3
If your main focus is the food, then focus on the food. The glass on the right is annoying, the flowers in the middle doesn't work, the chopped off table mat also doesn't work for me. What is that white bowl doing there? Shadows of the spoon/plates on the table oso doesn't work!
Well, and again i just blardy beginner.. i probably would take a photo which is worst than you, so ignore what i say.. Just look at how bad are my food photos.. ha ha --> http://www.flickr.com/photos/mohamadfazli/sets/72157594570431410/

A bit of planning and preparation will do your pictures a world of good. If you're shooting for a client then it has to be better than what you did, Much better.
Lord Fuzz has made the comments which I agree fully. He has done lots of food photography for his own personal files and you'll do well paying attention to his comments.

Mamak,
If they were test shots, OK
If they were just candid, in-your-face type, they're fine, captures a little bit of the mood, too.
But if for client ah, errr, need to set up set up a bit lor.
Btw, I like those lighted-from-the-inside lanterns above the tables. :D
