A bit of planning and tidying up would have done the 1st picture a lot of good. The 2nd pic is great.

I like the 1st pic, the blue tint gave ithe image a 'ultramodern' feel, maybe a bit closer to the disc and concentrate on the red light reflection would be a good idea.

Hmmm, both are good. I might prefer a bit more light but that would do away the mood. :D Quite futuristic/tech looking
