Had a real quick runaround in Bangkok, similar to the Amazing race style...one place after another...but of course, there was no prize to be won, only photos to be taken...

Here are some from my weekend there...

Started off with the Grand Palace in the morning

After the runaround in the Grand Palace, limited to only certain areas due to the passing of their beloved Princess (King's sister), we left the place and went for a boat ride around their waterways..

Nice shots! I bet the D40 is a great camera for travel given its lightweight and size... :)

Thanks Noordin, Chuah, & StPatrick.

Ya Noordin, i've seen many shots of Bangkok, but to experience it first hand was a bit different, so much clutter there and so much interesting things to shoot but when captured already...quite disappointed with the results..

Chuah...yes the D40 is small and easy to carry around but don't pair it with a big lens otherwise u have imbalance due to the small grip...

StPatrick: I was lucky with that shot...I saw a whole bunch of bees going to that lotus and decided to quickly snap. And the best part is, that was the only shot of that particular scene that I caught. To me it was a decisive moment. :)
