QQ...u mean the cat right? :D
I got a question: how do you capture the emotions in animals? Some good photographers like Ah Chow can really capture an animals emotions in their eyes. Can a prosumer do that?

Of course can....Ah Chow also using prosumer camera.
I think it's all about timing and context....try approaching a cat or dog while it's eating and I bet you'd get plenty of "emotion"!

Goji, Goji ..... lol
Can get, like Goji sez, it's the timing.
You know your cats/pets, when they groom themselves, yawn, stretch look at moving objects intently, play etc .... just keep on trying :D

Got a lot of cats "squatting" on my backyard....stinking up my compound. Furthermore they're not strays......
Let's see if I can get some "emotion" out of them this weekend! GRRRR!

Some catch light in the eyes can make the cat more alive. All cam can take good images.

tash, nice pussy...
Here's another shot of them. I had to use zoom coz they get scared off easily. The yellow one saw me skulking behind the tree next to the garage but he was too sleepy to react.

Tash -- Get a cat as your pet and starts shooting ! Wild cats are very cautious and alert, hence difficult to get close enough.
