Film users,

Good news here! Fujifilm has come out a with proptotype medium format film camera. This clearly shows that films (b&w & color) will still continue to exist and be available to analogue camera users despite dwindling in demand for it due to the onslaught of digital photography. So, no need to be concerned about 'film is dead' quoted by some others. Thumbs up to Fujifilm!!

So many people are ignorant about films. I have friends asking me whether films come in different ISO just like their digital. And when I told them that I need to change the whole roll if I want to change ISO, they laughed.....

And in the advertisement below, it seems like Fujifilm (the PR people) is implying that Velvia, Provia and Astia are negative.....:0

No la, what I meant was it was clearly printed in the advertisement "The 1st Digital Camera...... Similar To That Of Negative Film"....

And then they displayed the names Velvia, Provia, Astia.... that's confusing.

sigh.... u guys have misread it..... the simulation of the colors is like the slides.... but the dynamic range is like negative film..... if u don't know, negative film has a high dynamic range (latitude) whilst slides do not.
