even though its nominated as one of the new wonders of the world i find nth special about it.

fushimi inari taisha,kyoto

the place with thousands of tori-gates. easily to get lost and should b very creepy early in the morning or late in the evening when mists set in(but think of the photography opportunities!

ryuuan ji, kyoto

place with the famous stone gardens,i like it but its overcrowded. no more tranuility zen feel

thanks, i'll try to write more in the future. i took that on the way down from mt.fuji. even though all the pics i posted was in the day time, we actually climbed at night to catch the sunrise. the sunrise is something to see and i did take alot of pictures! but alas, i underestimated the weather(how cold can it be in summer ???) and brought to lil clothing. with strong winds (where my cheapo tripod felt like it was going to tumble) at 0 degrees, my hands was just to shaky even with a tripod.

so this is a lesson to be learned :P

shibuya,tokyo..definitely happening and overcrowded! i think this small part of tokyo has more ppl than kl...

need i explain more?

the park

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j234/clemong888/DSC_1245.jpg

forgot what this was called but it was dedicated to this girl who suffered from radiation who folded a thousand paper cranes in belief that it would cure her

Fu Yoooooh. Beautiful! The picture from the peak is breathtaking!

Thanks for sharing.

BTW did you go on your own or on tour? I'd like to do Japan again and I'm wondering if the package tour is worth it.

i'm studying here so everywhere i go is on a budget. hehe.. it would really depend on what the package offers. going on tours save you the hassle of transportation which can be quite a pain. on the other hand, your time is limited in terms of photography time and it's pretty much the popular destinations only.
