Wow at this rate Sony would surpass everyone in releasing number of bodies in a year. Glad I was wrong bout them.

The Live view is ingenious idea why can't the rest thought of it.

Now if they spice up their lens....:tongue_roll:

If I understand right they put a small sensor 'instead of eye' into optical viewfinder?

Smart idea autofocus wise.

But can you see adjustments in exposure that way? Guess not? Or am I wrong?
Or does the second sensor just provide it's data over to image sensor and exposure adjustment therefore can be observed?
How does it work?

In the specs about LCD it says

"• Features automatic defeat via Eye Sensor"

Think that means hooked up to sensor in view finder. So seems data is taken from viewfinder to LCD directly.

Yes, they put a sensor at the top of viewfinder there, and use a top mirror to swap between viewfinder and that sensor.

A small sensor is sufficient to display its resolution to the LCD. This sensor is just for live motion display anyway.

Exposure is just a sensor measurement and calculations and all this can be handled by the CPU and change accordingly to the LCD.

This can be done but i'm not sure how sony will do it, just wait more reviews coming out

Well, I guess if they put the exposure adjustment/data into the viewfinder sensor it could be done...
