Tried out this lens at a shop at Low Yat today. Been looking for a wide angle lens but this one is a fish eye lens. Is there a Tamron wide angle lens of this range(not fisheye) for pentax or is the only option here for pentax the 10-20 wide angle sigma lens? Am thinking of getting a wide angle for my Angkor Wat trip in March...or is Pentax DA14 the best for K10d?

This is a Tamron lens, it's the worst out of all the superwides IMHO.
Tamron is coming out with a new 10-24mm soon though, keep a look out for that.
You can get the Sigma 10-20mm in Pentax mount but I think it's pretty rare, you'd probably have to order it.

ST, the pictures taken here were with the Pentax DA 10-17 fish eye lens...if i remember the price ia about rm1700. I was also testing out the Tamron 18-250 lens, hence u see the tamron box ( taken by the pentax DA lens ). The Tamron 18-250 was quoted to me at rm1650. I also tested another pentax lens, the DA 14 f2.8 but no shots here as it was on another occasion. That lens quoted at rm1750. Also other wide angle lens I was looking at was the pentax pancake DA21 f2.8. That one is about rm1450, if i remember correctly. So tempted to get the DA21 pancake as it is sharp and so small n so convenient but I am afraid I will catch the pancake disease and end up buying the other pancakes, DA40 and DA70!! You are right as i never have any chance to test any tamron or sigma wide angle lenses as it is had to find such lenses for Pentax here in malaysia!!

Ah I see you were testing the Fisheye, sorry. There is a Tamron lens in this range it's the 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6.
The 10-17mm Pentax lens is a rebadged Tokina I think.
I'd recommend getting the Sigma 10-20mm if you can find it.
The pancake lenses are wonderful though, I fully recommend buying them all!
FYI, I saw DA12-24 at ylcamera thread:
