Just want to know, do you manually set your camera's WB in Kelvin when shooting an events or functions?
And do you bring the Kelvin chart along also?

For me... i don't... but time to time... i've to set it to flash... if i'm using flash... have to check on the output to confirm... if the colour is "rigth" for the first few shoot... Most of the time.. will just use Shadow as the WB setting.
I shoot in AWB and handle my WB in my RAW manager. It's very good..
Don't really need kelvin chart. Just do a few test shots will do

shoot in RAW with AWB, and adjust in RAW manager if the WB is out

For event etc lights usually quite static, so bring a grey card and use manual white balance, also manual settings (meter the background and use flash for foreground - so you don't get blacked out background but fast enough so you don't get handshake).
