Jason at J-one (http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=36) sells dry cabinets, not sure which brand but looks pretty solid.

There's a shop in 1-Utama selling Digicab too, Fotokem I think if I'm not mistaken.

Bro, the front glass thing can be taken out easily... which i did when i got mine cracked newly open from the sealed box... i took out the glass pane send it back to them and had them changed.... so, if you want something consealed, try taking it out, and glue it back with silicone... :D

very impressive. is 30L the smallest size?

it seems pretty big for 1 camera + 2-3lens.

AIPO (digital control series)
1) Better accuracy +/- 3 %
2) with Calibration feature
3) Local agent support (with cust service on forum photomalaysia) or cal
4) Price resonable = maching s'pore price

digicabi (digital control series) DHC

i just wonder will the dry box create a lot of heat during operation. Coz i'm planning to put in the air con room.

Thanks you,;)

The heat generated from a dry box is not significant.

However, do not put a dry box in an air-cond room. It will mess up your humidity control when the room temperature changes.

those using dessicant tech will generated heat greater then those using TE cooling technologies.

dessicant tech = using dessiccant (industrail type sillica gel (Molecular sieve))
and heater to regenerated the molecular sieve. and they used heater to control the window. so normally u will feel the cabinet is warm most of the time. temp of the heater will be heat up to 120C. more power used more than >45W. you will not feel the 120 C heat as the heater is isolated you only can feel the warm.

TE cooling = using condensation tech to absorb mositure. this tech using less power. the heat generated will be disperse by the heat sink at the back. . temp inside the cabinet will be same as ambient temp. power used is less than 10 W.

if u put at air cond room .. the only thing u need to take note is.. the RH may drop lower than your set value.

Example. (digital control) set value 50%
after long hrs .. u may notice the RH may drop lower than ur set value. ( this is normal ) as air cond room RH normally is arounf 45 to 55% or lower depends on condition.

dry cabinet function is to dehumidified and it will not humidified back. means it will only energize when the RH is higher than ur set value..

if u put in air cond room. the cabinet still can be function. pls make sure the temp is not set too low. as low temp will cause consensation on your lens when warm air is introduce.
