i shot this just a few hours ago at Batu Feringghi, Penang.
actual plan is to shoot sunset but the cloud was thick, can't see any sun.
i watched them since the very minute i got there.
the father helps her daughter building sand-castle and she was very happy.
then the father walk along the beach with her.
i was so touched by the father-daughter love.:heart::heart:
so i want to share with you guys this photo.

i've been waiting for someone to say something about it! :D
yupp... the horizon is senget. wanna know why?
actually i mount my camera on the tripod.
was shooting something else at diff. angle and suddenly noticed that the father & daughter was coming.
no time to re-setup, straight away shoot.
i should release my camera and shoot handheld.
hehehe... lesson learned! thanks for pointing it out! :)

There seems to be some halo around the father too, from processing? Be careful with your edges :)

oh yeah... i didn't notice it before. thanks for highlighting it ST. i assumed it was caused by high USM that i applied (it was a quick pp though). the high USM is actually to bring out the shape of the clouds. i should have duplicate layer for the clouds ONLY and apply USM. thanks again ST! :)

Azumi,

Spot-on timing man :) Haha, I think I'd be like you too - totally forgetting the technicalities at an exciting moment like this. The horizon needs some straightening 'tho :)

Hehe....too much USM. But an excellent capture of a "moment". Too bad the sunset wasn't dramatic enough.

Maybe can PS it a little to add more "drama"?
