1) Fully compatible with Canon RS-80N3
2) Two stage release button: Halfway pressing for auto focus, complete pressing takes the picture.
3) Lock the button for long exposures or continuous shooting.
User manual
1) Take out the the camera's remote-control terminal cover.
2) Firmly insert the plug of the remote shutter into the camera's remote control terminal and turn your camera on.
3) The remote shutter works in two levels: press the shutter halfway down to achieve focus, you will hear the focus beep and see the focus indicator in your camera's viewfinder; press the shutter complete down to activate shutter release.
4) Press the shutter complete down and slide it forward will lock the shutter. This is particular useful when you need to use long time exposure (bulb).
