Yeah, very bad smoke control. The whole surrounding area of PICC were completely covered with smoke after the fireworks ended, I could smell it even 2-3km away while walking back to my car.

After looking at 8 & 9, then only i understood why you almost fainted :0

But can they really control the smoke? Or maybe it's at the mercy of the wind. Maybe the Aussie got lucky because it was windy that night?

Wind is one factor but there are better quality (more expensive) fireworks that produce less smoke. It seems the lower quality Made-in-China ones produce lots of smoke. But I would have thought that Italy would have some really good quality stuff. Historically, Marco Polo from Italy brought back gunpowder and fireworks from China.

9..too much smoke.
