you should use your CS5 to adjust the level and curve to tweak the color....
try not to use f/5 all the time

the first Lion shot...well, half face lion. I think you were too close.

the second shot.....depth of field issue...try a different aperture...

Perhaps going back to simple basic composition will help you acheive a better impact on the images. It's good to see that you're experimenting with odd angles and croppings but in this sense,the images just do not work for me. Number 2 the statues' arm was cutting across the image, and it just goes from left to right of the frame, not knowing what it is that you really want to show. Showing emphasis on a particular subject will create more impact on your shots.

Eddie - can share a few tips on Photoshop Cs5? mostly Im using Illustrator for illustration. Currently learning photoshop bit by bit.

just as mention by karheng, go back to your basic composition. I think your composition also need to polish up.

U can go to book store look for book how to use CS5.

Search Youtube for Photoshop tutorials. Tons out there. :)
