Long-legged fly and a praying mantis

Fulat asked me to post more pics I'd taken with the raynox DCR-250 ontop of my camera, here's some:

These 2 were taken at maximum zoom on the lens (equivalent to 420mm), that works out to a magnification ratio that's slightly higher than 1:1 (about 1:1.8).

A colorful praying mantis (that's really really small)

And guess what?

Lovely set, CM!
The mantis , together with the 2nd fly and the little bug.

The fly looks like one of the many types of blue bottles/fruit fly.

Thank you ckii96, cavemen, ckchow, qqmeng, and alan.

Btw, the bug in the last pic is actually a ladybug that turned around. And I think the first 2 flies are called long-legged flies.

Thanks blur.

Attach it onto a long lens, and with some skill and patience you'll be able to get some good closeups with it.
