Challenge Date: 1-April-2011 to 30-April-2011 (must be posted latest by 23:59:59, April 30th, 2011, GMT+8 time zone )
PP Limitations: Basic (Colour/Curves/Brightness/Sharpen/Monochrome - no selective editing)

How would this challenge work? :

Simple. By the end of the challenge date, 15 best photos will be picked by a panel of judges. The Monthly Winner will be determined by the judges.

The top photo will be awarded prizes from Canon Malaysia and other sponsors and the picture will be entered in our Shutter Challenge - Hall of Fame. Also, the Monthly Winner’s and top 14 photos will be printed and showcase at Canon EOS Boutique in Penang.

At the end of the year, the panel of judges will select winner of Photo of the Year Award and he/she will be awarded the Grand Prize sponsored by Canon Malaysia.

Monthly Winner can collect their prize from the nearest Canon Service Centre (HQ/Branch office).


------Rules & Guidelines------

1. Employees of Canon Malaysia and EOS Boutique, ShutterAsia Admin(Shutter God, Demi-God & Ninja) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
2. Each member can only submit ONE(1) photograph.
3. All images submitted for this challenge must be shot/taken within the specified challenge date (see date above).
4. EXIF information for the image must be intact to prove the date taken.
5. Submit image with a short description of your photo, a title/name for it and full name as stated on IC/Passport(for verification purposes).
6. Images must be uploaded to SA's server. Any linked image will be disqualified. Read here to know more on how to upload your photos.
7. Images must be submitted with no borders and also no watermarks. All submitted images must be exactly 1024 pixel on the long side
8. Re-submission is allowed but must be done in the same submission's post. Edit the submission's thread and replace the old submission with a new one. Strictly ONE post per user.
9. Copyrights of submitted images will be retained by the photographer (We just reserve the right to repost the image in the Hall of Fame and Photo Printing).
10. Canon Malaysia & Shutter Asia have the right to accept or to reject any submission without prior notice or explanation.
11. Winners will be required to give their contact details and any other details deemed necessary and relevant via PM to ShutterAsia Admin.
12. All judges decisions are FINAL.
13. Winners and the monthly top 15 will be notified and requested to email high-resolution of their entries to admin@shutterasia.comfor printing by a certain date.
