The uncle is not so friendly with me. Maybe he thought I just a kid messing around with film camera.

Other than Poon and Lucky, there is another shop in front of medan selera (the road to the famous 'nasi ganja', I forgot the name of the road)
You can get a bunch of minty cameras there. And don't forget to visit a photo studio next to it. There are a lot of classic cameras there too, and some of them are for sale
I believe the shop you mean is Kong Ngai but I've not been there for ages. The last item I bought there was a Canon bag when I was in Form 5, even the bag was long retired. Should give that place a visit...

This is good news, maybe the Penang Filmkia can join you guys for an outing or two and vice versa

I am always fascinated by the limestone hills around your part of the world, meaning to find some place where there is water (lake) and hills view point.
Its our own Guilin

Even a better idea. Sorry but I'm really a film noobie, not that I never used film before but I've not touched them for a really long time (..thanks to digital bliss that is..). Really got lots of things to learn.
BTW Taiping is a very good place to start..

Perhaps Gunung Lang would be a good place for it
But to be frank, I myself have never step my foot there yet

Oh yes.. That's a cool place I've forgotten. I've been there for a couple of wedding shoot and the place is really nice. Do let me know if you guys are planning an outing..
