1st and foremost, Tq. Glad that u like it !!

Basically, the objective is to capture the trails of the light. There are many instances where u want to do this, for e.g. trails of stars in the sky, fireworks and vehicle lights.

As in normal photos, the 4 important parameters, Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO and composition play their roles. Obviously, the most important here is the long Shutter Speed, to get the Light Trails. You would want to use a relatively small aperture (to control DOF and may/may not, the sharpness, depending on your objectives) and low ISO (to reduce noise, as much as possible).
Composition is kinda secondary here coz u can get away under the pretention of artistic value, hehehe.

Most of the time, for those setup, the 'rules' says that, your gear has to very rigid (tripod mounted or resting on tables or bean bags, etc).

But for this particular shot, however, I don't care for sharpness, just patterns, so screw the 'rules'. So, my camera was on my dashboard of my car, after setting it up earlier, and I fire it off remotely, while driving thru the Penchala Tunnel. I only managed to get 3 shots from entering to exiting, so I got lucky, 1 turned out as envisioned.

Hope that helps, remember Safety First and Good Luck !!
