35mm 1.8G vs 35mm F2D

Hi expertz,

Im dilemma between 35mm 1.8G or F2D for my D7000. The 2D seem more expensive but on ly up to F/2.0 compare with 35mm F/1.8G in bokeh. Any advice? Thanks..

I prefer the colours of the f2.0. The 1.8 colours seems a bit dull to me. You can get pretty decent bokeh at f2.0 btw.

The G lens is sharper wide open, I would prefer that one over the AF-D on a D7000. If you ever plan to go FF in the future, then certainly none of the two, wait until Nikon redoes the 35mm to AF-S G standard (They have done the 50mm 1.8 G and 85mm 1.8 G, so the 35mm version can't be too far away me thinks...)
