24mm/1.4 does cloth-weaving at Inle Lake, Myanmar

This is to hope to push all impending Nikon 24mm purchasers over the threshold. What a great lens for photojournalism.

BTW have u tried the Zeiss 21mm distagon?

I think cannot compare the Zeiss with Nikon lah. They are different beast. I love zeiss but not manual focus. I like nikon AF with acceptable IQ.

If AF is in the criteria list, I think nikon still beat zeiss. I am a zeiss and nikon user. Of course I am a user of other camera system also which may not be so important in this thread.

Nice catch, I like all the pictures.

Thanks for the insight on the various lenses. I read the Nikon 24/1.4 has quite a bit of sample variation as far as AF is concerned. Thank goodness mine is a good copy.
