Btw which theatre?
Hear that the TAS (The Actors Studio in Bangsar center) will be closed down on 29th Feb 2008...sad!

Why shoot at 1/125? You could probably drop down to 1/30 or 1/60 and get a much nicer exposure with ISO1600.

Underexposing pictures increases noise a lot.

Thanks Shaolin Tiger, I'll try that out next time, but wouldn't 1/60 be too slow to move the movement?

Greenshot, well it's under exposed, so trying to salvage it somewhat by converting to b&w, I have colored shots of the actual performance, will post them up later.

How come they're closing down?

It's all about timing, setting your shutter speed so you can capture them when they pause, pressing the button at the right split second, you can capture some still and some movement.

Play around more. Don't be too rigid in your ideas.

some good pointers there Shaolin tiger, I will try more varied shutter speeds the next time I have chance to shoot such performance
