Ooooh....that's saying that most, if not all, of the members here are academically "superior" to our cabinet ministers.....

OUCH!

yes it is true, nearly everyone who works in the private sector are academically and brilliantly more superior and smarter than any of our goverment servants with the exception of you gojira.. Gojira the private sector still awaits your arrival here in Kuala Lumpur.

All it takes is just replace 1/4 of our goverment servants with the private sectors employment and you will see drastic improvements being made overnight !!!

Why is it Singapore will always be at the winning edge, because they have the best brains.

Why is it our country Politically and its policies will forever be one step behind Singapore and recently Thailand, because the worse will always join the goverment, with the exception of Gojira...

nice compilation of data there les!
i nvr had any interest in politics in my entire life.
why, because politics is such a dirty game.
even in university level, u can even feel the dirt.
i considered myself as one of the ppl who experienced the mud of politics at uni level.
if u want to talk about politics in malaysia, it'll take the whole century to figure them out.
some were good, and some was purely politicians.
well, u already stated one of the stats there les! good job!
now, let's hope toll is cheaper, gas is cheaper, tax is cheaper.... *yeaaah rite!*

Yet another correction Leslie - Hishamuddin apparently got his masters from London School of Economics!

Actually, I dont really agree to Leslie's points on comparing education level of ministers from Malaysia and Singapore - to some extend that is. Cuz I believe that most of our ministers are highly educated. So high that they became too smart and use their knowledge to swindle and con our fellow countrymen.

I also defy to acknowledge that good universities (as listed in the singapore's list) will produce good "offsprings" who have positive work ethics. Its all down to an individual. So one may be academically brilliant but rotten to the core with racial hatred etc etc. My statement here is a classic example of the saying : "The paper qualification only gets you the job, but doesnt ensure that you can do the job well". So what some minister in SG have a harvard or Yale piece of paper? Bill Gates need not have any to be where he is today.

Sometimes I think its quite pointless to compare ourselves with Singapore. Yes they are more advance and rich economically. They are resourceful. But does that mean we Malaysians are suckers? No. Singapore is Singapore, and Malaysia is Malaysia. What our people should look at is this though... compare ourselves to what is good and what is bad. Rectify this. Root out those crappy fat-@ss ministers who just look after themselves, when they are supposed to follow what they pledge, that is to help the people.

On a side note which is photographically related topic, is there any paparazi in Malaysia who always go to Putrajaya to snipe on our top level gov officers using say a 500mm or 800mm lens?

AH JAy .. i didnt create the above lar, got fwd in my email

Btw i am only comparing the govt lerr.... chill lar... I am not comparing our citizens lar... kawan, fyi Malaysian workers are highly wanted in Singapore for our hardworking traits, multi language and brains also, yea... the good ones always kena pinch by SG.. You want job ? i can ask for you ehehehe

Btw i worked in SG for 21/2 years i know how their system is.

Very much exposed to the SG govt that time due to work nature.

They are highly competitive can be too stress to live with them, cause its their survival instincts like fellow Hong Kie's. Dont forget there are 300,000 Malaysian's with PR eeking a living in Singapore... 1/4 of Singapore's total workforce are Malaysians...1/2 of them Johoreans. They dont bother at all, they just wanna cari makan and make life meaningful.
You can work 12 hours a day... until u die there.... But you have no choice... cause in sillypore ( a term i coined with my friend ) its either you work and go up or you die and get swallowed by others.

As for the rest of the govt, i couldnt be bothered lar..anyway... its long gone already ler... pointless.. to crap abt here, let them suck all they want...We do things our own way lar.

Just stick to what you are doing and for your family and your future.

If I am earning say RM350K/year on average in Malaysia, it would be a superb place to stay on the face of planet earth. If anyone else can earn more than that in the same period of time, then it wouldnt be just superb - but more like heaven. Now... no one, and I specifically mean not anyone high above up there in Putrajaya would be willing to give up their place on heaven, right??

Msia is the best country to live in..

We have the best food, best people, best girls, best venues, best beaches.

i've been staying across the ocean for almost a decade... damn sien already... i nothing beats your own homeland.. although sometimes the grass is greener elsewhere.

Its what you want in the end, some ppl want RM 10 million a year , some only want RM 60 k a year. Some want all !

We might not have the best weather but that beats tornado's in Mid West States, hurricanes in Florida, earthquakes in Japan. But we sure have something others dont have .. peace...

I've seen rednecks beating up blacks in the corner of Queens and Brooklyn and how South African Whites keep guns in their houses to keep blacks away. Thank god nothing like this happens here.

Maybe when i retire i will live quietly in a Orchard in Ipoh..But since i am working i dont mind going out far away again

It depends in the end what you want for yourself and others
