where to send for cleaning viewfinder or mirror

Hi,

Does anyone knows where to send my camera to clean the viewfinder or mirror? I'm not sure which has a little tiny speck of dirt. It's obviously not the sensor and I could see it from my viewfinder but when I took a shot, it's not in the photo.

Does normal Canon shops in shopping mall do the cleaning FOC?

The best is to send it to Service Center and in your case, Canon Service Center. I wanted to send my D200 for viewfinder cleaning but it will cost me more than RM200 to get it cleaned.

Because the cleaning require removing major parts like the prism. That is the worst case. Maybe only need to change focusing screen. I didn't gave my camera to the SC for inspection. I only asked. Sorry for the confusion.

If your camera still under warranty, you need to bring a valid warranty card filled with needed information.
