i have the Matin Neoprene strap for my D200+MB-D200+24-70 and it works great. RM 35 only...i find Optech overpriced personally.

I'm using Optech Pro Loop, no problems. Great strap so far.

Strap

I use the Optech and it is great. Very comfortable. Use it either as a neck strap or shortened it (unclipped) and use it as a hand held. I tend to use it as a hand held most of the time. Its more comfortable than neck strapped. Its $85 but I suppose you get what you pay. Think of it as supporting your very expensive camera and the level of comfort as priorities. Is it worth $50 more? You decide.

Mine is Optech too....more than 10 yrs old already ...bought it since my Minolta 700si fill slr days.

After coming back from sweaty macro shoot, i can remove the spongy (and soaked with sweat) part before putting the rest into the dry box
