Been sometime i never post up photos, here is my 1st attempt of shooting this Chinese Opera this week.
Hope you all enjoy the ride, C&C are most welcome...

Nice coverage. A bit too warm...and a bit of blown highlights on the costumes and faces but those spot light can be a real pain most of the times..

Did you use direct flash from a speedlight?

In NT, they performed in hokkien or Teochiew?

btw.. nice series..
first 2 picts looks a bit blurr on my screen..

Hi, OM. Thanks for the comment...
I agree is a bit too warm, may i know what are the details should i adjust to prevent the photo to be too warm? Is it just white balance?
I'm just starting to use my speedlights still need to learn more about it...:p
In NT, mostly is Teowchew but this temple get 2 group of chinese opera one in Teowchew and one in Hokkien to perform.

Hmm...actually i donno how to find out about it...sorry.
But maybe i can find out from my colleagues farther cause he is the super fans for Teowchew chinese opera....

It will be lesser after the ghost month festival but for this performance it was celebrate for the temple annivesary.

If you shoot in RAW you can adjust the WB in ACR....not sure if u can do that in Picture Project...the WB is right when white is white..not blue(ish) or margenta(ish).

Picture Project is it like photoshop stuff?
i'm still trying to find out how to use the speedlite and i find it is not easy to get the right angle most of the time.
Sorry for the noob question....need more guidance here...
