How to remove shining on the face due to flash

How to PP a potrait that have shining part on the face? I know we can do it using stamping clone but my brushing technics suck. Because when I terbrush the part that I already brush, it become darker that part. Are there any simple way?

The photo should b that way, IMHO.

Nevertheless, you may try the burn tool, set it to highlight & 30% strength. Secukup rasa.

The shine is not severe, in fact it's good to leave it. If you remove them the photo will look 'flat'.

If you still insist on removing them then try using the 'blur' tool.

My attempt. Clone stamping in layer and adjusted the opacity afterwards to your taste.
