Happy Chinese New Year to all sifu and PhotoMalaysia members first. I am facing some problem today, My Nikon AFS 24-70mm f2.8 AF function cant perform well ( for example : some time can get focus but when i press second time, its wont function again.) meas cant get focus continuous. Is that my lens SWN motor problem? how much cost to repair this?

hi, I think this problem could be the SWM .
tips: 1) the SWM squeaks or jammed when going infinity to near (0.3),
2) my shot are out of focus
means motor wearing off.I once had similar problem, lens cannot lock focus. So diagnosed to change SWM .
where to change? if under warranty, go back to NIKON.
else: third party repairs/NIKON without warranty.
price: about 600-1000RM (2009)
Just sharing my experiences.
